Wow, just saw this on Facebook. Wow, wasn't a fan of his comedic style but he had his place for sure among comics

I grew up watching him. Hook, Mrs. Doubtfire, Jumanji, Aladdin, Good Will Hunting, Flubber, Bicentennial Man, and the list goes on and on. Sad, sad day.

Very sad to hear this.

Depression is a real thing.

I went through it over 10 years ago. And came out of it
Well become more of a violent person. But also a lot stronger than I was

Never ever had it again.

Wow. I just saw a few months ago he was in a rehab facility in MN. Sad to hear he couldn't get things turned around.

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in the playground is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no props, and may the mods have mercy on your soul.

He was one of the greats. I even have a good story about Robin Williams.

We ran a large and very popular Day Of Defeat server from 2001 to 2006. One day got a email from a guy saying thanks for running a great and fun server, it was signed Robin Williams. I didn't think much of it till I checked the donations from that day as well. Someone had donated over 5k to keep the server running. The Donation came from Robin Williams. Looking up the IP that made the donation it came from the area that Robin Williams lived. When checking IP with game server he had played over 40 hours 2 weeks in a row. So it was either someone with lot of money playing a joke on us or it was him. A few weeks later one of the guys that helped me run the server sent me link to a interview where Robin Williams talked about playing day of Defeat.

Very sad day all my fav comedians I grow up on are all gone now.

George Carlin
Richard Pryor
Sam Kinison

Leave it to extremist right wing media to say Williams is dead because he was a "leftist". Are you kidding me? smh. gross.

He was a very good man who eventually let his personal demons get the best of him. From all accounts from those that knew him, he was a beautiful soul. Fck what people think, he will be missed by more people than not.

A true OG and one of a kind in comedy. He was always one of my favorites and would even watch those late night talk shows if he was on them. R.I.P. Robin Williams
