LAS VEGAS – While Monday’s public dust-up between UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones (20-1 MMA, 14-1 UFC) and undefeated challenger Daniel Cormier (15-0 MMA, 4-0 UFC) may very well have brought more attention to the pair’s UFC 178 matchup, UFC officials are publicly standing against such actions.

Dana said that he liked the incident. The UFC's YouTube channel even uploaded the full video of the fight along with interviews of Jones and Cormier regarding the scrap. I doubt they are too ashamed of what happened. At the end of the day, all it will be is publicity

We will see if they really condone when they air those specials where they look into the training camps, they're usually aired the week of the fight. If they show the footage of this incident then they support it, if there's nothing of it but naturally they will mention it, then DFW and the Fritooties do not approve, we will see...

Lol, like what? I call bs on this one. If they were the first fight on the card, sure. They're the main event though and I guarantee Dana loved every second of this.

Fans should start a movement to make them fight for free. Purse money goes to charity. Someone goes home champ the other guy nothing. That should be their penalty.

The ramifications are about a quarter million extra PPV buys.
