In an interview conducted by MMA Fighting's Luke Thomas, Ortiz talks about his last fight, his recent injury and his thoughts of Bellator now currently under the control of Coker.

I'd argue it already has been for a long time. I don't know about the actual numbers but I've been more invested in Bellator than I ever was Strikeforce. Strikeforce did have a very solid roster for what it was though. They had the better talent I'd say but until guys like Eddie, Chandler, Brooks, Patricio, Curran, Dantas, etc. fight in the ufc we'll never really know I guess. I thought Strikeforce fighters had nothing on the ufc guys but I was dead wrong there.

I a way they already are bigger and more successful. But at the same time, SF did bigger things with bigger MMA stars. Hard to say what BFC can be in the end, the landscape is different and always changing.

Bjorn started from zero and BFC is where it is today because of his work.

Scott only has to build upon the success Bjorn created already. The hard work already been done.
