Bellator tried to sign Jungle Fight bantamweight champion Jonas Bilharinho, but the undefeated prospect wasn’t interested in the offer.

good for him for having a goal and sticking to it, if i was the UFC i would give this guy a chance for turning down that contract alone.

Who was recently asking why the UFC not only didn't release former Jungle Fights champ Paulo Thiago after his recent losses (including 6 of his last 8), but instead actually gave him a new, higher-pay, multi-fight contract two weeks ago? Someone was wondering why?

Coincidentally, 2 weeks after taking care of Paulo who is represented by manager (his manager also being the owner of Jungle Fights), Wallid Ismael.

What a unique coincidence that this Jungle Fights champ is publicly declining Bellator for the UFC! What timing!
