LAS VEGAS – And this little piggy is going to see the doctor…

After an up-and-down early UFC career that saw Uriah Hall go from can’t-miss prospect to a potential bust, the middleweight took advantage of a slot on Saturday’s UFC 175 pay-per-view main card and posted his second straight win.

However, while few doubted the 29-year-old’s striking prowess, the same can now be said for his heart and toughness.

Despite mangling his toe in the first round – and despite a watchful eye from the cageside physician who appeared at least tempted to halt the bout – Hall (9-4 MMA, 2-2 UFC) fought on and eventually claimed a victory over Thiago “Marreta” Santos (9-3 MMA, 1-2 UFC) via unanimous decision

Shit was nasty. Loved how Hall psyched himself up right before the 2nd and 3rd round bells and fought like the injury wasn't a factor. Crazy, crazy heart on that kid.
