Not to sure how many of you have this threat, but out here in Ontario its VERY rare. I was about 15-20 km away from this when this went down. I am in Barrie, and this was in Angus.

Thanks, but I am ok.

Just very rare to see in our area. Feel bad for the people who had their homes destroyed. Huge tornado too.

The electrician at my work knows the guy who shot the video they used for the news. He was describing how big it was and the damage and I couldn't believe it. It's unheard of around here and that's too close to home for my liking. And I'm a couple of hours away, not minutes like you are. Scary shit man.

Pretty wild. Witnessing a tornado (from a safe distance obviously) is on my bucket list. Severe weather is fascinating to me.

Glad everyone's okay.

Been through a ton of hurricanes living in Florida, but just something about a tornado funnel that's mesmerizing

The only bad thing about living in area where you don't see Tornados really at all, is we do not have the sirens to alert people. In another video I watched, some guys were washing their car with the Tornado behind their house, and they had no clue if it wasnt for people screaming at them. lol So someone like me who listens to music off my phone and avoids news stations or the radio, you don't know when a Tornado is coming. Imagine how many people are like me.
Only reason I knew about it is because my ex works for 911 dispatch.

That tornado scared the wits out of me. What more if it's the strongest one ever recorded than Oklahoma's. Our area rarely have tornado visits but man I'm glad you and your loved ones are safe.

Glad you're okay. Getting a tornado in your neck of the woods is most irregular

Since you and everyone you know is ok, we'll chalk this one up to attempted small-scale population control.

With a conspiracy, the story is just more captivating.

Glad it didn't head your way ROY.

I realize this isn't a laughing matter, but the French-Canadian video is kinda funny. Aside from the fact that they keep switching backing and forth between French and English, their laughter about things isn't helping. The conversation was mildly amusing, too.

Thankfully you and everyone you know is okay.

Base Borden is close by, I believe they were French military. To your laughing comment. I think it was excitment and nerves. I think we all be kinda jacked up seeing a Toronado for the first time ever. Last Tornado to touch down in this area was in 85. So a rare thing for sure.

Thanks to all, for the kind words from everyone. Much appreciated!

Another day another Tornado in Ontario.

This one in New Tecumseth.

A lot of NSFW language, so if you're watching at work put headphones on or mute it.
