Next month’s UFC 175 pay-per-view main card will have one heck of a lead-in from the FOX Sports 1-televised prelims.

Interesting that Faber will not be on the PPV, questionable really. UFC 175 is a measuring stick PPV, The guy who defeated Silva twice fighting Machida, former champ and Silva's buddy plus MMA's biggest star and best fighter EVA Rondah Rousey is fighting. I guess they think those fights alone will draw all they need to, that Faber vs Caceres doesn't move the needle anymore than what will already happen in terms of ppv buys.

This ppv is too weak to put Faber on a prelim. This will most likely hurt sales.

That's very surprising. Faber is coming off of a title shot and now he's on the prelims? With how popular he is, it's not a wise move to keep him off of the main card. Then again, this is a weird match up to begin with.

This PPV was already hurting when they lost Sonnen/Belfort, now they are just pouring salt into the wound by taking Faber out of the PPV.

Pretty sad that a brimage vs doane makes the ppv
Shit that fight wouldn't make a fight night main card
it's a insult to Faber.

Have hall vs Santos be on the prelims

Ufc really are fucking this event up.
They should show some respect.
The July ufc Vegas expo has people coming from around the world spend some fucking money on a stacked card

Its simple, theyre grooming faber for a title shot grudge at 135... more people see the prelims than the ppv...

The lopsided matchup and the placement on the card is simply a promotion move.

This is as stupid as it fucking gets. People paying out their asses to watch Brimage vs Doane when Faber is on the prelims. So fucking stupid.

Edit: I see where Gumby is coming from, but with the Barao PPV numbers coming out low, you'd think they put Faber on the PPV. Faber's face on PPV promotional material would be clutch.

Not even so much the prelims but Caceres is a huge step down for Faber, but I guess there arent a lot of BW's that he hasnt fought yet

Faber is going to get mad viewership with headlining a prelim on TV...plus his fight will probably make people think that the card must be amazing if he is a prelim and thus enticing the casual audience to purchase the PPV. Either way, I think Faber crushes him!
