Danny Castillo (17-6 MMA, 7-3 UFC) will join his Team Alpha Male teammate Chad Mendes as a part of the UFC 176 fight card when he takes on “The Ultimate Fighter 11” winner Tony Ferguson (15-3 MMA, 5-1 UFC) in a lightweight bout.

Nice fight. Another middle tier fight
Los Angeles needs a big co main event.

Solid match making. Castillo has been on a tear lately, but I think that Ferguson is just a little bit better than him in almost all areas of MMA. He should stop Castillo's streak here.

It was announced today that Jacare is going to return at this event so maybe him vs Belfort or Rockhold could make for a solid Co-Main.

Castillo/Ferguson is going to be great imo. If will cartainly be interesting if Ferguson can keep it standing. Both guys coming off huge KO's, safe to say it'll be fun

Another solid contest booked this week. This could be a nice standup war.

great fight. I think ferguson has what it takes to beat castillo, but I will probably pick castillo to win it. I wont be surprised if tony wins it though.

Great matchup, I think both guys are knocking on the door of being a legit top 10er, although I see Castillo getting it done. I don't think Ferguson can submit the JoeJitsu specialist and with Bang in Castillo's corner he could clip Ferguson. Also I thought reach would be a big deal but Castillo clipped and almost finished Edson Barboza who was the longer and lankier fighter, had he not coasted Castillo would have won that one.
