The headliner of tonight’s Bellator 121 event, which kicked off the organization’s 2014 “Summer Series” schedule, proved a rather quick and one-sided affair.

I must say Bellator does some awesome hype videos to get you into the fights. The video for Thompson vs Prindle was awesome. God bless "Colossus" and his brilliant post fight promo.

It was nice to see Sokoudjou and Thompson get pretty dominant wins. Thompson is actually on a solid streak right now.
If only I could have understood a word he said in the post fight interview

Good start to the summer series! Sokoudjou looked good, I'm interested to see how he does against legit comp. Thompson is a funny dude. He called out Kongo because one of Thompsons teammates had his testicle busted from a Kongo lowblow haha man Prindle sucks

Anyone else get the impression Sokoudjou's opponent was in there simply because he KO'd Van Burean, who is fighting on TUF next week?

Yep! Could we be so lucky to see this guy lying knocked out with his hand in the air twice in less than a week?

I did horrible on this card, I think the only wins I had were JT and Lins. Had really no clue who the guy Soko was fighting but figured Soko was just taking money fights at this stage in his career....I was wrong, as he looked pretty dominant, although I'm not sure what the level his competition was. Didn't seem to be anything special. Missed Eduardo, I think he really thought he won that fight.....he gassed after the 1st round and didn't do enough with his take down in the second to justify winning. He got beat up on the feet. Also missed Andunson over Wallace.

To be honest Soko's opponent looked legitimately like a normal person straight off of the streets...no faith in Soko, or Tito for that manner. Bellator needs to stay away from the has beens.

Gotta agree, I watch these often with a friend of mine who is a TV producer and he is constantly shocked and can never understand why the UFC is so dry, old and stale with almost everything in their shows while Bellator can produce farily interesting, easy content out of less back story for their shows weekly.

I thought the Thomson post fight rant was hilarious.

Yup. If Soko's opponent got to train full time he'd be 185 tops and maybe 170. I wasn't impressed. Bellator's better LHWs will fuck him up.

I agree, I see Soko losing to Newton, Rampage, Vegh, Lawal, Ortiz, Lins, Beltran, DeBlass, Zayats and Noe among others. Sokoudju is very middle of the road.
