The UFC has picked up longtime veteran and former UFC lightweight Naoyuki Kotani for a return to the big show after almost seven years away.

Jesus I thought he was at least five years older then he is. I wish him well as he was someone from the great days of MMA.

Honestly speaking, I don't see him winning any fights in the ufc.

Nice veteran addition from Japan but he'll mostly be used as a record padder as harsh as that sounds. Almost everybody he's beaten on this streak is other home country fighters. Especially since right off the bat he gets a horrible match up.

Parke has a huge striking advantage, cardio, and wrestling while Kotani's strength is grappling while his ability to take a fight to the ground is not so great. Hopefully he can put up respectable performance and get a better match up next time so he can at least get a win.
