To make it simple i'm just considering the Summer being June, July, and August. I looked through the UFC fights through those months & in my opinion those 6 are the best, 3 of which are on the same July 5th UFC 175 card; below are some additional honorable mentions / headliners.

Benson Henderson vs. Rustam Khabilov
Diego Sanchez vs. Ross Pearson
Demetrious Johnson (c) vs. Ali Bagautinov
Rory MacDonald vs. Tyron Woodley
Andrei Arlovski vs. Brendan Schaub
James Te Huna vs. Nate Marquardt
Cub Swanson vs. Jeremy Stephens
Donald Cerrone vs. Jim Miller

I'm looking forward to Miller vs. McGoober the most. It's one of the few genuine feuds we've had in the last few years.

Also looking forward to Frankie shutting BJ down for a 3rd time.

I agree with your 1st statement & hope Cole Miller finishes "The New King" or whatever the arrogant Conor McGregor is calling himself in front of his hometown Ireland crowd that I'm sure will be going crazy.

Frankie Edgar will probably do his usual garbage jabbing & running to take another boring decision, but I have hope that we see the old BJ Penn reinvigorated at his new FW weight class to avenge his losses.

The other fight i'm most pumped for is Chael Sonnen punishing Wanderlei Silva for his cheap shot & trash talk, which is another legitimate rivalry.

I voted Bj vs Frankie 2. But I'd actually like to see how khabilov would do against Henderson.

Rory Mac vs woodley I'm also keen on.

Top pick: Also vs Mendes, most likely to end with a new champion.
Close second: Weidman vs Machida, same reason.
A lot of the rest seem like easy 11s.

The thing about Aldo is that everyone looks at how bad his gas tank is in the latter rounds, but he is practically unbeatable in the first 2-3 rounds. Aldo is always in kicking range whereas mendes has to get in boxing range to land those murderous shots.
Last year I was saying mendes could definitely beat Aldo but now I'm not so sure. I think we all tend to take Aldo for granted a bit lately as he hasn't finished anybody lately (not including Korean zombie injury ) just my two cents.

Weidman vs Dragon for me!

Weidman has that Spider Silva invincible stigma to him now & all his fights just get me so amped! What will he do next?!

Weidman/Machida is definitely one that I would call in sick for work for Honestly there are a lot of good fights this summer but that one is just so interesting and should be extremely competitive so I just really want to see how it plays out.
Other ones I my eyes are going to be glued to are
Woodley/MacDonald
Schaub/Arlovski
Swanson/Stephens
Silva/Sonnen
Edgar/Penn
and McGregor/Miller

7 FOTNs, 1 FOTY, and 1 KOTN. We must have different views on what's considered boring.

I agree Frankie is one of my favs. 3Rd favorite current fighter behind JDS and Poirier.

My favorite fight is Weidman vs The Dragon.

Favorite fight of the year so far would have to be Trujillo vs Varner.

Another fight I'm looking forward to is Erik Silva vs Matt Brown. And Cruickshank vs Koch.

Silva and Cruickshank are up there on my favs list too.

Flip Weidman vs machida with Aldo vs Mendez and keep the last sentence and that's where I stand.
I really don't care about rousey or bj attempting to get revenge despite being down 2-0.
I don't think McGregor vs miller is going to be as close as everyone thinks unless conor ruins his knee again
