At Wrestlemania XXX last night, Brock Lesnar beat the Undertaker & ended the epic streak of consecutive wins the Undertaker held at Wrestlemania

I've read all kinds of things about this match from conspiracy theorists saying Lesnar wasn't supposed to win & is going to be fired to Taker & Lesnar having this planned out since their staredown at UFC 121.

Lots of wrestlers go by the time honored tradition of "going out on your back", passing the torch & leaving the organization left to a new age of fighters. Most believe Lesnar didn't deserve to be the one that sent him out.

If you dont watch wrestling, I highly recommend you find video to watch the ending of this match. All 70 something thousand people there were quiet. The "oh shit" faces on everyone in the crowd, including the wwe staff, were priceless. If this was planned, it was one of the best kept secrets bc the announcers & even Paul Heyman looked as though they couldn't believe it happened.

The match wasn't great, but no one will remember that. They'll all remember when the Undertaker went 21-1.

Undertaker can't win them all
Crazy to think when he debut in the wwe like in 1990 or 91
I was barely a teenager and now he still fights and I am in my mid 30's

Remember when Brock was rumored to return to MMA? Perhaps that was how he leveraged a new contract w/ some interesting terms.

Just watched it. Sorry, PF, you've been watching wrestling too long if you thought his reaction was authentic

Imagine the guy trying to hawk a bunch of 22-0 t-shirts on the street after the show. You know someone lost their ass on this somehow.

This might sound stupid to some folks, but you can actually bet on pro-wrestling on every major sport books. Get this.

Undertaker was -20000 to win that match.

Granted, the betting cap is only $50, but that line swung to -600 before the event. Some folks knew something and some made a few grand off it.

If I worked for the WWE i'd supplement my income by betting on every fight.

That's probably what happened is a couple of insiders decided to turn $50 into $3.500 and people watching the line movement jumped on it themselves, thinking it was an inside bet. That's why the limits are only $50, being as some people will definitely know what's going to happen.

I may have bet Jay on 100/1 odds that Taker would win and he would get my AV for 300 days if Brock won (I would get his 3 if Taker won)

Luckily Jay is being kind and taking my av for 36 days bc the line moved to 12/1. Fuckin aye.

I followed wrestling loosely as a kid (would watch if it was on TV, never saw a PPV bc my family was broke), stopped watching around '01 or '02 or so. A lot of my MMA friends are into the WWE so I thought I'd get back into it. Everyone telling me Taker COULDN'T lose to Lesnar so I believed them.

Wild shit.

Wrestling unfortunately isnt what it was like in the 90's.
When Wcw was still in business and WWF was putting out good shows. Miss those days. I havent watched in many many years.

I was ready for the streak to end, but I think Brock was a horrible choice to be the one to end it. He's not even a full time wrestler, and his best years are behind him.

He should have stopped wrestling when he hit 20-0.
