The UFC’s first trip to New Zealand has its first fight. The bout is expected to serve as the headliner for the event.

Had a double take reading this headline. Pretty interesting matchup.

Dropped a div to get back on track...and his first fight is Marquardt? Sucks to be Te Huna, that's a tough fight.

Marquardt's chin has been a bit questionable in his last couple fights which could mean bad news for him against a heavy hitter like Te Huna.

I really like this matchup. Very interesting pairing.

I could see either being knocked out here.

Nice fight. Maybe a surprising headliner since there's a good chance we'll see Mark Hunt at this event too but ya I'm not complaining. This is going to be interesting for sure. I think if Nate can avoid the big shot he's going to be faster and be able to out strike Te Huna here.

Nate back at 185 is good
Nate has a lot to loose. A lose will get him cut

Pretty sure Nate's gonna get crushed here. He's super talented but inconsistent and extremely hittable. That's bad news against a big puncher like Te Huna.

X factor is the weight cut for both. Te Huna's already a big, burly guy, so I'm not sure how much weight he can lose before it affects performance. On the other hand, Marquardt's never been known for his cardio, and he may take the throttle off even more when returning to 185.

Marquardt really needs to get him on the ground ASAP or he gets blown up in one. If he can get him down and grind him to t later rounds he can finish him.
