Following a unanimous decision loss to Sam Stout at UFC on Fox 9, Cody McKenize has been released from the UFC.

Damn, that sucks! I always liked watching Cody fight. After his dominant win over Leonard Garcia, I really thought that McKenzie had a bright future in the UFC but sadly, it looks like that won't be the case. His poor performance against Stout and the whole issue with his shorts probably didn't help either.

This...I'm not a huge Aoki fan, but he knows how to defend a guillotine.

He would outclass Cody easily.

I endorse this fight, because we may get to see Aoki win via a never-before-seen submission, or win via outstriking Mckenzie. Both would be humorous.

McKenzie got subbed by Edwards and Rocha. What more needs to be said?

Sounds like he is talking to WSOF, they seem quick to sign anyone that fought for the UFC more than a couple times.
