Long-time UFC Welterweight contender Josh Koscheck told ESPN that current champ Johny Hendricks can't sell pay-per-views and that this would force the UFC to "pay up" for the return of ex-champ Georges St-Pierre.

I don't give a fuck if he cant sell PPV's like GSP, I'll take a hendricks fight vs anybody over GSP's lackluster wins. we just watched one of the very best fights of the year between hendricks and lawlor. there was more excitement in that fight than GSP's last 10 fights.

Kos is right, but it's ok....as long as Hendricks continues to dominate the division, we should see GSP back in max 2 years.

Even though I agree with Koscheck about the UFC needing GSP's sales, I think its too early to write off Hendricks as a PPV draw.

He's only just won the belt and could very well turn into a great draw if he continues to put on good performances. This injury couldn't have come at a worse time for him though.

I don't think anyone will reach the level of buys Lesnar and GSP were pulling, even GSP if he comes back will probably never top 1 million buys again. The UFC is bleeding us even for undercard fights, and what the content they do give us for free is nothing compared to what we were getting when MMA was thriving.

If Hendricks can win his next couple fights he'll become as good of a draw as anyone else in the company

Meh.

He just needs more time to build up his name. He's the more exciting fighter, so give him a little time and he ought to be OUT selling GSP, imo.
