Anderson Silva says that his time fighting isn't over, but his time as champion is.

As much as I would like to see Anderson return, I worry about his health. He has nothing left to prove so I really don't see there being much to gain in a return to the octagon, especially since he doesn't have the belt on his mind anymore.

Anderson Silva is only a couple of knockouts away from people clamoring to see him fight for the title again. And I will be one of them.

This doesn't surprise me. I for one, thought he was done fighting for championships after he lost to Weidman the first time, but obviously Dana had to do what he does and sell the rematch. He's on the downside of his career, whether people want to believe it or not...he should only be fighting top 10 guys and fantasy match ups, so to speak. Still wouldn't mind seeing A Silva vs. Bones, but the older Anderson gets, the more I favor Jones.

I doubt he gets a title shot. I would definitely book gsp vs Silva next year. They both have nothing to loose

I don't get why so many people wanna see him retire. Not like he's been slowing down IMO. He obviously thinks he has more fight left. I'm all for his return if it's what he wants to do. I hope he demolishes his first couple opponents and decides to fight for the title again.

If he thought he had anything significant left he'd be chomping at the bit to fight ASAP, not taking a whole year off when his exaggerated injury is already healed.

Exaggerated? The guy snapped his leg.
