I love it when they say, these aren't excuses but... Why a guy who has to cut weight to 170 let himself balloon up to 217 is unacceptable, you are not Tiabu!

He seems to have a very good additude towards the subject. He manned up took full responsibility for it, which is something I can respect. He just shouldn't have taken the fight, considering the personal circumstances he was under. I hope Cummings gets another shot because he is a very talented fighter, none the less.

I cannot recall him ever having missed weight before. Considering that his father just died and all the other stuff working against him, I'm definitely willing to be okay with him getting a mulligan on this one.

That being said, he's a very average fighter and will probably have a minimal career at best in the UFC.

That was really stupid of him to continue to go on the trip to Singapore for 10 days after he signed the fight. I know he says that he agreed to go to Singapore when he was injured and not booked, but if you then sign for a fight that's about a month away, you should probably not be going to Singapore for 10 days and not training, just my .02.

Well, he was there, watching he dad dying, helpless. He wasn't partying crazy all around.
Going through that can leave a mark on your body.
