Hunt's heavy hands + Schaub's glass jaw = a quick win for the Super Samoan.

Hunt is way too powerful for that glass chin. I'd take Hunt everyday and twice on Sunday

I'm calling it right now schaub via arm triangle rnd 2.

Hunt is going to want to stand with schaub the whole time, schaub will probably stand a bit maybe hoping for a lucky shot... He'll go for a takedown and probably get it and work his subs on top. Hunt has ok defence but remember he's been subbed in a lot of his losses.

In fairness to Hunt, Fedor, Overeem, Mousasi and Barnett, are several knotches higher than Scaub is on the BJJ skillset, hell even Mccorkle probably is, and lets not forget all of Schaubs losses have come via KO. So therefore I am also in the Super Soman's corner for this fight.

I just love Hunt's attitude. He will fight anyone. I agree Schaub is a step back for him, but I love that he doesn't pull a J. Jones complaining that his opponent is beneath him. I love fighters who will fight anyone at anytime.

Suicide by Hunt? Get some help, Brendan. There's more to live for.

That must be Schaub's plan, go for the sub. He'd be crazy to call Hunt out with the intention of standing and trading with Hunt.

Hunt is just a natural fighter. He won the K-1 WGP Finals after having trained kickboxing for only two years. HIs mma debut was against a gold medal winning Olympic Judoka and Hunt held his own on the ground for 5 minutes which is amazing considering his experience level at the time. He beat Wand and Mirko shortly after and earned a title shot against Fedor after fighting pro for only 2.5 years! Only a handful of fighters have accomplished that, BJ Penn, and Jon Jones are the only other two I can think of.

Hunto lost his passion after Pride went under, stopped training mma seriously and lost 4 in a row by quick submission. It was a paycheque. He even made a K-1 comeback against Semmy (despite not training kickboxing in years) and looked like crap. His heart wasn't in it. UFC didn't want him and Dream was the last of a dying breed. There was no chance of another title shot against Fedor. He was done. Then he finally got into the UFC (IIRC they had to give him a couple fights they owed him from his Pride contract) He was subbed easily by McCorkle in his UFC debut. He was re-motivated but he didn't have the time to get back to top form. He looked much better in his next fight against Rothwell, and then every fight since then he's looked better and better. He's still no match for JDS and Cain but I wouldn't take that losing streak to mean too much, and Hunt hasn't been subbed since he McCorkle fight, mainly because his heart is back in it, and he has a goal to aim for, UFC champion.

So yeah, Hunt's BJJ is much much better than his record indicates.

I love when two 205+lb men agree to fight and you know chances are one is going to play the bongos on the other head. Makes for awesome television.

“If he wants to go to sleep first, sure, why not,” Hunt told UFC Tonight.

I think this would probably be the outcome when hunt lands a hook on schaub's glass jaw.

Easy win for Hunt, to bad they redid the bonus structure, because Hunt would've most likely warned a KOTN if they fight!

If hunt can get across the cage fast enough he could get fastest KO record
