What's next for UFC women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey? Aside from small roles in a few Hollywood films, we're not really sure. Thankfully, UFC commentator Joe Rogan says something intriguing could be on the horizon.

Speaking with KROQ's Kevin & Bean Show Friday morning in Los Angeles, Rogan was very quick to dismiss the hosts' claims that Rousey is now left without a legitimate challenge to her title.

"Oh, you're so incorrect," said Rogan. "I wish I could tell you what I know. I wish I could tell you. I know some secret stuff. I know some secret stuff, but I can't tell you."

Perhaps Dana has just been playing coy.

When I think "huge" announcement, only two names come to mind.

Cyborg, who has never cut to 35 though maybe it would be smart to book her vs Ronda for her first time making that cut to make her as vulnerable as possible.

Gina Carano -ain't happening but is the only other applicable name in the "huge" category.

Holly Holm?

Maybe a little soon but definitely a big name.

With enough money I could see Gina being lured back, but like Cyborg I don't think she could make 135 and be in top shape. Hell, I don't think Gina could make it period these days.

That's who I'm thinking. Could be an easy fight for Ronda grappling wise and the UFC can use Holm's boxing history to excuse her lack of MMA experience.

Gotta be cyborg.

Holm is good. But wouldn't be that huge.

Rousey vs cyborg in Vegas fight week 4th weekend
Would be nice.

Cat zigano vs Alexis Davis at UFC 174 Vancouver
For next title shot

I can see why it could be Gina. They could hype her as the first crowned champion of MMA (and if needed just stay hush, hush, about Cyborg for the buildup).

The only problem being,is that an easy win of Carono would only probably generate more interest in a bout with Cyborg. I think either fight would be big but Cyborg is the much better opponent, imo.

I agree i mean has she even been training? If she were to take this fight I would think it would be on a super card so to spike the ratings and nothing more. You would have to pay her crazy money as well. The one thing is she simply would tap out and not mess her pretty face up.

If they drop a million bucks in Carano's lap, she'll come back. Little chance of getting her face busted up and screwing with her movie schedules. Just a quick tap in a sport she doesn't care about anymore.
