Resurgent Irish flyweight Neil Seery is heading to the UFC octagon next month.

UFC officials today announced that Seery (13-9 MMA, 0-0 UFC) has replaced recently injured 125-pounder Ian McCall (12-4-1 MMA, 1-2-1 UFC) and now meets Brad Pickett (23-8 MMA, 3-3 UFC) at UFC Fight Night 37.

Seery is 13-9 at 34 years old. I feel bad for the guy. He's just a body to keep Pickett on the card.

Actually a solid replacement. Seery had a rough start to his career, but has really stepped up his game in the last couple years. I think he's a solid addition to the roster

Even so, this is a squash match imo. Pickett takes him all day.

Agreed. Seery's record is deceiving, but he's at a good UK camp now and has improved a lot in the last few years.

I feel bad for the fans who tickets to this event. Probably the worst UK card on paper ever!
