LAS VEGAS – With the biggest fight of the year going down on Saturday night at UFC 168, one of the UFC’s biggest draws might be cageside to view it.

This week there were rumors that heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar would attend Saturday night’s rematch between Anderson Silva and Chris Weidman. Exactly why Lesnar is coming to Las Vegas for the fight has become a thing of speculation, but as usual people are beginning to whisper that maybe the UFC has something up its sleeve.

During Thursday’s post-press conference media scrum, UFC president Dana White was asked point blank if the UFC would take the opportunity to talk business with Lesnar.

"I honestly don’t know," he said, repressing a grin like a man who just might know more than he wanted to say. "Honestly?" somebody goaded. "Honestly," White said, "I don’t know."

Awwww come on, say what you will about Brock, but the dude was always entertaining. I for one wouldn't mind seeing him come back IF he is back to 100% to see if he's perhaps started a different training regimen.

If he did come back they would start him off with someone well know but not a world beater...maybe like a Ben Rothwell to gauge where he is at.

I always loved watching Brock fight. He was a beast and didn't lose until after he got diverculitis. I'm not saying he wouldnt have lost to Cain, but it would have been a completely different fight. I guarantee the Overeem fight would have been different. Not too many people would have gotten back in the Octogan after getting a foot of the small intestine removed and then getting kicked right in the spot where the surgery took place by the Reem, that would put anyone out.

If he could come back 100%, I would be all for it. I personally think he would walk in as a bottom top 10 HW and would beat most HWs out there. There are a ton of great match ups - Big Country, Big Nog, Mir III, Silva, rematch with Reem (now that he is off the horse meat), Hunt, even the loser of Barnett/Brown. Personally, if he is 100%, I think the only guys that would be huge favorites over him are Cain, Jr, and Weirdum.

On a side note, Dana is really stretching to find someone to fill the PPV void left by GSP's absence and now possibly A. Silva's.
