After tonight's CES 28 I having to include,

Joey Gomez who is now 6-0 as a Pro with all 6 wins coming by KoTko in the 1st Round with an average fight time at right around 2:15. Also 2-0 in his amateur bouts. This latest win was against Kin Moy who was 6-1 heading into this bout with his only loss coming against an undefeated Bellator vet Steve Garcia via Split Decision. To top that off Moy was 6-1 as an amateur. Moy's loss to Joey Gomez was his 1st time being finished as a Pro. Gomez is a Bantamweight to keep an eye on.

Nice group. Not to critique about putting Daniel Weichel on your list but not sure about him being considered an Up and Comer. I mentioned on the forums that I thought he could beat Curran and he did. He's a vet in my eyes that is established and ranked well inside my top 10-15.

Like I said not criticizing at all though.

Here's some talent from Invicta's Strawweight Division.

Their next card headliner is between Katja Kankaanpaa vs Livia Souza for the belt. I'll go out on a limb and say the winner of that fight will end up in the UFC for their next fight.

Deanna Bennett and Alexis Grasso are also solid. Those 4 girls are already better than some of the UFC's current Strawweights.

Who knows we might see them all. It would be better than some of these unknown female fighters that they are bringing over like JoJo's next opponent and Albu and that chick she's fighting. Never seen any 3 of those girls. Saw all 4 of the ones I listed.

His only loss came in 2013 to recent UFC signee Makwan Amirkhani.

James Gray Jr.

He fights in about an hour from now in XFCi 10 Main Event. He's also part of this weekend's B.O.T.R combo. He earned his spot in the Main Event as a finalist in an 8 man tourney. He fights out of Michigan too.

Gray could still be great. Virginio is no slouch by any means. Both guys are really young and talented.

Fernando Dos Santos is one to maybe watch for also. He beat Rubeniltion last night in the hot bout. He started training with Marlon Sandro at "Hill of Champions" when he was 14.

"Hill of Champions" is a free gym that Sandro runs in the Favela he grew up in. Hacran Dias and Eduardo Dantas both came from that same gym. Barao might've came from that gym also (can't remember) either way he coaches there a lot. Fernando played professional soccer in Germany and Turkey before injuring himself and committing to MMA full time.

Gray still should've won. He pulled guard, and ref stood them up way to quick. Gray almost had an armbar locked up. Nice escape btw. But Gray just went in at that point as if he had the guy and got hit. As soon as Gray hit the ground the ref stopped it.

Gray is much better Virginio Imo. And if anyone else watched you'd have to agree.

Sage northcutt

This kid looks like a monster. I don't want to jump on the hype train too quickly but he looks like he has quite a bit of potential.

I'm also watching Northcutt. His first fight in the UFC is against Francisco Trevino (1-1 UFC 12-1 MMA). He has a good chance and the matchup is pretty good for Northcutt in my opinion. As far as level of competition goes, Trevino is by far the best guy Northcutt has faced this far into his career.

He fights for ROC (Rings of Combat). Currently 5-0 with 5 1st Round finishes. I wouldn't be surprised if we hear his name fighting for one of the higher up promotions come 2016.

Experienced kicker, fast, nice elbows... How can I not be excited about watching Hakeem Dawodu develop?

Hakeem Dawodu is 5-0, fights for WSOF as a featherweight.

I like watching his striking.

Fight
