I scored the fight 48-47 for Bigfoot.

Immediately after the fight I told myself that I was okay with this fight being a draw because it would suck if one of these guys walked away with a loss.
I rewatched this fight the next day trying to figure out how the judges came up with this Majority Draw Decison.
Easy enough this means the 2 judges that scored it 47-47 had Silva winning 3 Rounds to 2 with Hunt winning one of his Rounds 10-8, probably the 5th.
I disagree with the judges for a couple of reasons. First I didn't think there were any 10-8 Rounds in the fight,
and second how could 2 judges have a 10-8 Round in this fight but 2 judges scored the Bader/Perosh fight 30-27?
I personally had the Bader/Perosh fight 30-25 but yet only 1 judge had 1 Round 10-8.

I had the fight going to hunt. It was a great fight either way. and for the first time I think I can say that I am okay with DRAW. I would have liked to see hunt win because I don't really like bigfoot and I've been a hunt fan since he took cro cop's head kick, but the fight was so damn close.

I personally had it for Bigfoot. Can't remember which rounds, though.

I noticed a lot of fans over at Sherdog scored the fight for Hunt but the threads were full of love for him so I wasn't sure what to think. I'm not a huge fan of either guy and scored it for Silva.

I know I initially had bigfoot 1 and Hunt 3. I was drunk when I watched it last night so im not certain which round it was but I had Bigfoot & Hunt splitting the 4th & 5th rounds. Round 2 was the one I remember giving the edge to bigfoot but thinking it could go either way. If someone 10-10ed it, I wouldnt argue

I thought Hunt won, but I haven't rewatched it, and I was too into it to really score it properly as I watched it live.

I definitely didn't think any round deserved to be scored 10-8 though, especially after the Bader fight was scored 30-27 by two judges.

When waiting for a decision my Mrs asked who I thought had won. I said at the time that it was a tough one to pick but if I had to pick a winner it would be Hunt, just.

However I was happy with the draw.

Close fight for sure. I'm just baffled on how the 2 47-47 scorecards came up. Either way this is the rare occasion where I'm okay with a Draw.

A lot of folks are asking for a rematch too. I 'm on the fence about that. Just because there's no way the rematch could live up to the expectations that everyone would have.
Part of me wants to see the rematch just because it was a Draw, agree with the Decision or not. But the fight became an instant classic after the 3rd Round and only got better as it went on.

By mid way through the third round I stop trying to score it and just sat back to enjoy the ride. Same thing happened on rewatch. The real winner that night was the fans.

I had R1 2 & 4 going to Bigfoot and 3 & 5 going to Hunt but Mark Kicked Bigfoot's ass so bad in the 5th it could of easily been a 10-8 rd.

That's exactly how the draw happened. The two judges who saw it a draw had bigfoot up 3 rounds to 1 going into the fifth. Both scored round 5 a 10-8 for hunt, causing the 47-47 majority draw. I personally thought bigfoot won, although I picked and was rooting for Hunt. Tough to be upset at that call though, that is one fight that I will concede as being very hard to judge.

Different judges are appointed for different fights.

Getting mad at a 10-8 round being scored when it wasnt scored in a different fight, is asking for a wrong to justify another seperate wrong.

I had hunt winning 48-47

If it wasn't for that dumb ref saving Bigfoot to wipe to blood off his face. Hunt may have finished him off.

No way I had a draw or Bigfoot winning.
I gotta give credit to Bigfoot he took some shots
Crazy how Cain finished him off twice in rd 1
