With tonight's fight I think the question is legit. Not too many can be listed for sure. Who are your nominations?

Sapp vs. James Thompson in Supa Fight League?

On a serious note, it kinda reminded me of Couture vs. Rizzo from UFC 31.

Amen! The dude comes out to fight. He could have retired after his KO's, but he had has something left to prove to the world. Can you imagine if Vitor had hung up the gloves after his sad PRIDE run?

I believe I already prop'd you for this comment. If not, I need to

As much as I loved Fedor/Cro Cop, I just watched it again the other day, and it really wasn't that crazy of a fight IMHO. Cro Cop spent a lot of time on his back, and he did a really great job of preventing Fedor from being as effective with his vicious ground and pound as we were used to seeing from him at that time. While on the feet, Cro Cop spent the majority of the time running away. Other than a couple nice body kicks and one or two left straights, Fedor made him look bad.

Great fight, but I definitely think Bigfoot/Hunt was more exciting.

I have a hard time thinking of an overall better heavyweight battle than Bigfoot/Hunt.

Yes I have, and I agree completely

Other than the third round it was a pretty average fight.

Also, I feel like an idiot for forgetting about Big Nog/Couture. That was one of my favorite heavyweight battles of all time.

It's been a long time since I've seen it, but I remember Herring vs Nog as the best HW fight I had seen up to then and I haven't seen a HW fight that clearly surpasses it.
