Of the UFC’s nine current weight classes, the light heavyweight division is arguably the most lacking when it comes to rising prospects and legitimate title contenders.

Personally I think Cain will roll JJ with little effort. He will push him against the cage, take JJ down and ground and pound the hell out of him.

I would thoroughly enjoy every minute of that.

If Jones go to HW permanently and dont have to cut any weight, i am pretty sure he weight as much as Cain.

He has the reach to land at distance and the wrestling to deal with Cain way better than Junior or anybody could do.

I actually see a close match with Jones winning on points.

Let's just put him vs Cormier to see if he can destroy him at 205, then we will have a good preview of what he is gonna do with Cain without cutting weight.

True, but, just because he has the wrestling to deal with him better than Junior doesn't mean he actually has the wrestling to deal with him. Cain's wrestling credentials > than JJ's wrestling credentials by leaps and bounds. I would see Cain steamrolling him by pressing him against the cage and roughing him up. One thing we did see in the fight between Gus and JJ is that JJ isn't anywhere near as effective backing up and Cain has a relentless pace and puts a lot of forward pressure on people. I can't think of a single moment in JDS vs Cain 3 where JDS was able to apply ANY forward pressure on Cain because of how furious Cain's pace is. I see Cain wrecking him like he did JDS over the course of 5 rounds.

Agreed. I'll take Cain all day in that one.

Fuck yeah ! Pleeeeease make this happen after he fights teixeira... Also I don't see Cain losing to anyone in the near future either...

It would be so cool to see jones at hw. I actually think that it would be an ultra competitive fight. I can picture jones getting taken down for sure and possibly bullied against the cage... But jones has some crafty trips of his own and I don't see why he couldn't get on top of Cain aswell.

I may be thinking with my heart but I see jones taking this by stoppage.

Before the Gus fight I thought Jones could take any man between 205-265

Gus wasn't supposed to be a hard fight! Now I think it wouldn't be a hard fight for Cain but it wouldn't be any harder than Brock Lesnar.

Jones would be more likely to finish the fight but Cain would just stall against the fence. I'd still watch.

I've been waiting for JJ v DC for some time. I think DC could take I but if JJ wins it will just help to setup the bad blood between Cain and JJ.

As much as I dislike JJ I think it is pretty cool that he's willing to fight HWs. He's probably just out for the payday but it's pretty cool regardless.
