The controversial UFC Middleweight expects to face the winner of UFC 168's Chris Weidman vs. Anderson Silva title fight rematch in a Brazilian stadium sometime in 2014.

Maybe if its vs Anderson I can see holding the fight in Brazil, but if its vs Weidman, there's no reason he should have to fight Belfort in front of a hostile crowd just because Belfort can't use TRT in the US.

What good is a champion who can only fight in one country?

can belfort get his license in vegas? with the TRT? I figured the reason he's been fighting brazil so much is because they won't license him in the U.S. this is a legitimate question if anybody knows

My understanding is he can only fight in Brazil while using TRT which is why his last 3 fights were there.

I used to think GSP was only allowed to fight in Canada

I'm sure they are as well. They do not honor other SAC rulings in most cases.
