Like a fighter got KOd and was never the same again.

Of course Chuck and Cro Cop come to mind. Besides the Wandy fight after he was KOd by Rampage he was never the same. Cro Cop too after the Gonzaga KO took the life out of him and he never could beat top competition again.

Any other examples come to mind?

All of bj penns wins tbh, Stevenson and Sherk for sure. Another one is Machida breaking his arm against Coleman

I dare say Rashad Evans. Since the Machida KO, he has been scared to strike with just about everyone. Someone finally must have gotten in his ear with this Sonnen fight and said "Go box him up, he literally cannot knock you out"

And even then he didnt even box they just held each other against the cage before he took him down.its pretty mind boggling to me hell stand all day with lil nog but wrestle chael and davis.

Not sure about Randleman. He got KOd by Rampage then KOd Cro Cop and then lost that wild Fedor fight and never won a relevant fight again. He went 3-10 after Rampage but I donr know who to give credit!

How about the opposite direction? Matt Serra's punch that just about KO'd GSP made him champion and one of the few men to say they have defeated GSP.

I still hate how people call that KO a fluke. GSP didn't take Matt seriously, Matt threw some punches and they landed. Don't think Matt wasn't tryin to land those. GSP has played it safe ever since besides the rematch, Penn and Fitch. He lost his killer instinct

Everyone saw how flukey that was. Fedor was the greatest of his time.

Bisping has never been the same after he got H-Bombed

Terry Etim had his hype train stopped in the dust after Barboza got his HL reel finish kick off

Also Struve had to quit fighting after Hunto turned his chin

For kongo I would actually say cain. After that fight he was frequenting his role as cup cheick kongo what with all his new found love for wrestling.

Sometimes I wonder if Timmy was just a lrage man to deal with at a time when the UFC's heavyweight division was at it's worst, or if he actually did lose his mojo really bad. He did have some pretty heavy hands and even some kicks when he was first champ.

Yeah, I swear Anderson KO'd a part of Forrest's soul with his striking voodoo.

Chuck Liddell never seemed quite the same after Quinton Jackson KO'ed him in the UFC, and Takanori Gomi was never the same after Nick Diaz submitted him with that gogoplata at PRIDE 33.
