After UFC 167's controversial title match between Georges St. Pierre and Johny Hendricks, there were many media members and fans believing that it was quite similar to a recent title match, that of Jon Jones vs Alexander Gustafsson. In that fight, many thought Gustafsson won, and deserved an immediate title shot, and many believe Hendricks warranted a rematch with his performance as well.

It doesnt make any sense. The only somewhat decent excuse would be Glover is a worthy contender and waiting whereas GSPs #1 contender after Hendricks isnt all that clear.

It would be highway robbery itself if Hendricks didnt get a title shot becauses hes the most deserving challenger since Fitch and Alves mean streaks back in 07-09. Plus they gave Diaz a shot instead. Not to mention the fans are a solid 60-70% convinced Hendricks won, atleast 50%. Ive heard a handful of non-GSP fans say he won but its mostly his fans even though he does have a solid arguement.
