Ted Ehrhardt, manager of Johny Hendricks and founder of Team Takedown, said that "no respectful champion would want to go out on those terms" in reference to reports that Georges St-Pierre plans to retire without giving Hendricks a rematch.

This is getting a little ridiculous.

I think GSP made his decision to take some time off before the fight. It's not his fault the Nevada Athletic Commission screwed up and he shouldn't have to pay for it.

He should retire if he wants to. He doesn't owe Dana, Hendricks or anyone else anything. People who watched the fight know the commission blew the call.

No it would not Georges St Pierre did the respectful thing when he agreed to fight Hendricks at UFC 167.

In no way does he owe Johnny a rematch to show respect.

Now I am all for watching them fight again but saying he is being disrespectful for wanting to take a break for personal reasons is just Johnnys team playing head games.

Georges St Pierre fought and beat every top contender the UFC ever asked him to so how about you show him a little RESPECT.

I think this constant whining is more disrespectful than anything. You got beat, you lost. Suck it up and put 100% effort next time into your next title shot.

I'm getting absolutely white girl wasted off all of the whine coming from the direction of Hendricks and his camp.

This coming from the camp where the guy disrespected GSP by claiming he was juicing. Look at your guy to see blatant disrespect

I agree.

I've been robbed a few times in jiu jitsu tournaments but I quickly realized absolutely no one is interested in hearing my excuses, even if they are totally legitimate.

Its not hard to show sportsmanship when you win. Its not even that hard to show sportsmanship when you get your ass kicked. Your real maturity shines when you get robbed and can still remain gracious.

This, along with everybody else's comments about Hendricks not giving 100% during the fight. It's sad, but the statement of not letting the fight go to the judges still reigns true.

well than why did hendricks say he only gave 70% in the fight because he knew it was going 5 rds….. maybe he should have trained harder so he could go 100% and not have to worry about gassing….. so everyone from Hendricks and his camp should stop bitching
