Surprised two judges gave the first round to St. Pierre.

Yeah, it came down to the 1st round. Interesting note. 16 media sources out of 16 scored this fight for Hendricks. Ariel Helwani said that on the post fight show.

I feel so bad for Hendricks. It was definitely a close fight but Hendricks deserved it for sure.

On a side note... Am I the only one who doesn't really mind if Askren doesn't get signed anymore?

Dana is livid right now at the post fight press conference. Ripping right into the commission.

Ripping into gsp too about his half assed retirement.

You know that's what he's really pissed about.

GSP is his cash cow and he just quit on his most controversial win ever, leaving the division in shambles.

If GSP hadn't semi-retired after the fight I bet he'd be a lot less critical of the decision.

It comes down to the 1st round. I thought GSP won RDs 3 and 5, Hendricks RDs 2 and 4.

I thought Hendricks and GSP's takedowns in the 1st cancelled each other out, and Hendricks was a little better on the feet that round.

I had Hendricks 48-47

i feel fedor got caught up in his power of his punches and pride in his hands and thus neglected his other areas in the cage which he is so good at. i feel that the dan henderson bout was not a true assessment of him because dan was on trt and fedor was required to cut weight which is bullshit. that bout also was kinda stopped to fast i think but I love hendo so whatever, his fight with bigfoot he obviously had the wrong game plan and that fight was also a bullshit stoppage i mean total bs. if you have seen doomsday howard be allowed to continue or hoger then you know he was robbed, cavalier werdum beat him fair and square but he also had just been laid out by fedor and almost ko'd, people were out to get fedor because he was the best, fighters are hyped up and really want him bad. I still feel he is the greatest or one of the greatest fighters ever. He certainly keeps his freedom. he values his freedom and won't bow to the ufc because of that. you have got to respect that, strikeforce was a mistake for him I feel he is a better pride and ring fighter than cage fighter, he should fight cain or someone that is champ somwhere in a ring in a pride environment like japan it would make huge money and showcase who is the best!!!! I miss pride!!!
