Prior to his fight against Chris Weidman at UFC 162 in July, former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva was guaranteed an immediate rematch, should he want it, by UFC president Dana White.

GSP won't need an immediate rematch.

That said, if he were to lose I still think he would let them do it again.

Which would be more conducive to guaranteeing an immediate rematch: Getting power-humped and owned standing for 25 minutes straight, or getting knocked out early a la Anderson. Hypothetically speaking of course, if Hendricks were to pull it off in one of those ways.

I think he only doesn't get an immediate rematch if he clubs some baby seals right after the event. He does like clubbing.

lol... this is just a case of another misleading article title.

“All fights are different. We’ll see what happens. We’ll see how the thing plays out. (But) it would be kind of a weird thing for Georges St-Pierre to not get another shot at the title. It would be hard to say that he’s not still probably the No. 1 contender if he loses the belt on Saturday.” - Dana White.

These journalists suck.

This quote by Dolce, who works with Hendricks, just made me cringe.

"In the past, Johny has let his wrestling slide in fights because he's trying to be exciting for the UFC. But when he's in a title fight, he's going to fight more conservatively and make sure he's going to get the belt."

They may have a 25 minute positioning battle. My worst nightmare may come true....

Hendricks kinda looks like Rafi from The League.

Do any of you actually believe that GSP wouldnt get an immediate rematch if he were to lose? Like someone else pointed out, Dana all but said that he would if you read the article.
