Chael Sonnen is never one to shy away from a challenge, but even “The Bad Guy” admits he’d have preferred to avoid a conflict with former UFC light heavyweight champion Rashad Evans.

“If there’s a fighter I would have chosen to stay away from, it would have been Rashad,” Sonnen said

I'm not a fan of Chael's, but I give him props for stepping up and doing this. It's good to see there are fighters out there that will go out and fight no matter who it is, friend or not. Schaub and Mitrone were friends, and they went out there and did what they are paid to do at 165.

One thing you can never say about Chael is that he turned down fights. That being said, I think Evans wins. Interesting fight

Yeah, I can't decide on a ko or ud for Rashad but I do have him winning. Still a Chael fan, big time!

If Rashad really wants to make a statement for another title shot hed stop Chael in the first round like he should. Rashad is probably the worst style match up for Chael.

With that said Rashad has been chinny in the past, Chael isnt the hardest hitter but neither is Tito made he could knock Rashad down like Tito did to Bader and choke him out. Thats really his only hope.

If it was 5 rounds and main eventing a fight night id give Chael a must better shot because Rashad fades late in fights.

This fight as well as the whole card besides title fight
Hasn't had any publicity at all.

If your a avg fan would you pay for the ppv not knowing who else is on the card
