I agree anything flying, but I like the military arm bar it is practical and it can be used in a real fight on the street.

The gogoplata is awesome. I couldn't beleave it when Hansen got caught in one. Then like a month later Diaz gets one as well. The "splits" that Jason Miller tried in his last fight was pretty cool as well.

Something I have done a few times is a triangle choke and then get the kimura with that arm that got stuck in. Works wonders on friends that have never trained.

Of course I like the flying stuff, but out of the stuff I'm most likely to see: I like the guillitine in the clinch which ends up on the ground when the guy with the sub jumps on the other guys midsection, crosses his legs around his waist, and brings him down into his guard. Almost no way out of that.

I like straight arm bars, the way Fedor and Nogueira can come out of nowhere with them is amazing.

The side choke is quite cool aswell though, cause you can have ahold of the head and arm and not make it apparent that you are going for the choke, then tighten it up and it can be allover in a second.

i love the triangle, there is just so much to learn about it

but my all time favorite is an omoplata to defend a single leg takedown

I forgot who pulled off the sliding heel hook but that's my favourite submission in competition. Otherwise it's the omoplata. If you never saw an omoplata, and someone came up to you saying that you could choke someone out with a shin, that's just amazing.

Are you thinking of Ryo Chonan's "flying scissor heal hook against Anderson Silva?

My fav sub is a straight armbar.

IMO nothing is better than a verbal submission from your opponent.

Triangle Choke/Kimura combo on an opponent of my size or less. Armbar or rear naked choke on someone who is bigger then me.
