Thanks to UFCJUNKIE.com for the rumored fighters + blurbs on then and thanks to Sherdog.com for the links to records

Well they have been filming this now for the last few weeks and so far we have only just found out 4 of the 16 fighters names

In case you dont know this season is the same as season 5 and only having 1 weight division (though 7 will apparently feature LHW+HW) so ALL 16 fighters are WW 170lb fighters, we all know who the coaches are and they fight a while after the season finale at the Xmas UFC Dec 29th.

RUMORED CONTESTANTS (click for their sherdog mma record)

MAC DANZIG
MMA veteran and former five-time King of the Cage lightweight champion Mac Danzig (16-4-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC) will be one of 16 contestants on the upcoming sixth season. Danzig, a 27-year-old Legends Gym Jiu-Jitsu fighter in Hollywood, Calif., put together a 12-fight win streak from June 2004 to September 2006. In an October 2005 King of the Cage bout, he defeated former KOTC champ Takumi Nakayama with a third-round TKO. He would go on to post four successful title defenses. Danzig most recently fought on the PRIDE 33 card in February and suffered a second-round TKO loss to Hayato Sakurai. The vegan and animal-rights activist usually fights at 155 pounds — and even then, he has to cut little if any weight. Despite entering the show with a wealth of experience, Danzig will likely be one of the smallest cast members on the show.

JON "WAR MACHINE" KOPPENHAVER
Koppenhaver, a veteran of the Total Combat organization, fights out of Las Vegas and is affiliated with the Gamebred team. “The War Machine” has scored TKOs in three of his four professional victories. He began fighting professionally in 2004.

RICHIE HIGHTOWER
Hightower, a three-year Rage in the Cage vet, is riding a five-fight win streak. His past two wins have come against Andy Maccarone (7-3 MMA) and Dominic Flores (3-1 MMA). The 25-year-old Arizonan, who once weighed as much as 265 pounds, used to train with UFC veterans Ricco Rodriguez and Eddie Sanchez with Genesis Jiu Jitsu, but LA Boxing in Phoenix is his new home.

JOE SCAROLA
Matt Serra’s star pupil Joe Scarola (3-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) is expected to be a cast member. Scarola was actually the first student to earn a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Serra. Scarola fought professionally in 2001, took a five-year break, and then returned again in 2006. Some databases have him listed with a 4-0-1 record, but no matter which database you use, Scarola’s opponents have yet to register a professional victory. Still, training with Serra, the 28-year-old will surely bring a solid ground game to the competition. And with his Kempo karate and Muay Thai background, he should be one of the season’s more well-rounded cast members.

I absolutely hate the fact that his series is delaying the championship bout by 3-4 months. I'll watch, but I won't be happy! ;)

I'll admit I'm not too familiar with any of the names other than Scarola (the protege of Serra). It's still a learning process only being into things for little over a year now.

Yeah i only knew Danzig from when he fought Sakurai in pride recently, he did get KTFO but no shame there
He will be really small but just like Manny he could be a lil pitbull and he may well be my pick to win

I'm looking forward to the fight with Serra and Hughes, but it's going to take forever. But I like the seasons of TUF, their intersting. As long as their's no Gabe Rudiger in the mix. lol.

Good point by Garrick, but I don't think Dana will let Ruediger into the show since he failed to make it at 155 and embarrased both himself and Dana for bringing him in. He'll have to find some other low-budget company to work for.

Man, GSP aint losing to Kos... for sure. GSP 2nd TKO
Kos stand up is not as good as gsp's for sure, and GSP won't be taking down, Hughes couldn't even take him down, and he is like the best wrestler in UFC!

What I don't understand is how Hughes rates a title shot? Who had he beaten to get back into contention? He barely won his last fight and that is only because he smothered the guy for three rounds. Why don't they have him fight Sanchez or Koscheck. I hope that Serra clings his clock.

MORE RUMORED FIGHTERS ON TUF6

BILLY MILES -

UFC newcomer Billy Miles (2-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC), a friend and training partner of UFC veteran James Irvin, is the latest rumored cast member. Miles, part of the Capital City Fighting Alliance team in Sacramento, trains with UFC and WEC veterans such as Irvin, Urijah Faber, Scott Smith and Jeremy Freitag. He hasn’t fought professionally in nearly three years. However, back in 2003, he began his career with back-to-back victories — over Monico Enriquez (Gladiator Challenge 20) and Kelly Johnson (Gladiator Challenge 30). His lone loss was to Matt Horwich at SportFight 9 in 2004.

MATT ARROYO -

Matt Arroyo (2-1 in MMA, 0-0 UFC), who hails from the Gracie Tampa camp, will likely appear on the upcoming sixth season of The Ultimate Fighter. Arroyo, a 24-year-old submission specialist, has beaten Naeem Munir (0-2 MMA) and Ariel Pena (0-2 MMA) and lost to Matt Brown (3-2 MMA) during his 10-month professional career. He’s a veteran of grappling and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu tournaments and a “four-stripe Purple Belt” under Rob Kahn, according to his Gracie Tampa bio.

BEN SAUNDERS -

Undefeated Orlando American Top Team member Ben Saunders (4-0-2 MMA, 0-0 UFC) will likely appear on the upcoming sixth season of The Ultimate Fighter. The 6-foot-3 Saunders, who sometimes fights under the nickname “Berserk,” turned professional in 2004. The 24-year-old Absolute Fighting Championships and Combat Fighting Championship veteran began his career with two consecutive draws before his current four-fight win streak. In his first-ever MMA bout, Saunders fought UFC veteran Crafton Wallace to a draw during a 2005 AFC event.

Blake Bowman -

Bowman, (0-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC), who has a career amateur MMA record of 3-3, will likely appear on the upcoming sixth season of The Ultimate Fighter. A source close to the fighter relayed the news to UFCjunkie.com (www.ufcjunkie.com) yesterday evening. Bowman has fought his last three fights in the Indianapolis-based Legends of Fighting Championship, a growing organization that has sent a handful of fighters to the UFC.

Bowman won’t be the first fighter to make The Ultimate Fighter series with no professional experience. Cory Hill, for example, was one of fifth season’s most memorable fighters, and he hadn’t ever fought professionally. However, what Bowman does possess is a “strong and big personality” that will translate well to a TV show, said our source. Bowman, an aspiring broadcaster whose done play-by-play for LFC events, currently lives and trains in Atlanta.

PAUL GEORGIEFF -

Team Bison fighter Paul Georgieff (3-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC) will be one of the 16 contestants on the upcoming sixth season of The Ultimate Fighter. Although Georgieff has a 3-1 record listed with Sherdog’s FightFinder database, the Full Contact Fighter database has the 24-year-old with a 7-1 record. In fact, the Minnesotan began his career with seven consecutive victories before a loss to experienced veteran Justin Wieman (17-8-1 MMA).

Georgieff, a renowned grappler, is the middleweight champion for Ultimate Combat Sports, a Minnesota-based organization that began in 2004. The Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu expert is a submission specialist who’s finished every opponent before the final bell. The lanky and nimble ground fighter will likely be one of the season’s most versatile cast members.

Hendricks was a great wrestler and I believe will transition well into a fighter. Much better wrestler than corey hill.
