Would Anderson Silva really take Chael Sonnen up on his latest offer?

“Who knows, I may reach out to Anderson and see if he wants to be on the coaching staff (of TUF Brasil 3) with me,” Sonnen said in an interview with Whoa! TV.

Then again, how much does Anderson like Wanderlei?

Yeah, I doubt it'll happen, but I must say I'd be interested as a mahfucka to see it.

They have a long history of being friends or teammates, Wanderlei was a big part of Anderson's early career. They might not be super tight today or anything but I'd be surprised if Silva did anything with Sonnen like this. I think Sonnen was simply saying that to get whatever rise he could out of people listening.

I know they used to be teammates at Chute Box, but they've had beef since then, haven't they?

I thought they went back and forth a bit a few years back but my memory's ass.

It's never been serious or anything, but I recall Anderson basically told Wand to stay ay 205 because 185 was his. I don't think they are super tight today like they were ten years ago, but any of their beef has never been serious that I've heard and they are still cool enough with each other. Anderson was a guest coach for Wanderlei when Silva was on TUF vs Vitor even.

LOL... I didn't even know Wandy and Vitor coached opposite each other on TUF.

Shows how much attention I pay to TUF.
