Today, I watched one of the most epic fights I have watched in a long time. Yes or no, do you think Uncle Dana should give additional money to both of these warriors, Diego Sanchez and Gilbert, for an amazing fight?

Absolutely

They threw caution to the wind and held nothing back. If that's not the kind of performance you give special reward then you have no right to bitch when guys fight conservatively.

Melendez and Sanchez deserve to be paid, big time. That fight was a HUGE reason I decided to order the PPV. I saw that, Dodson-Montague, and three heavyweight fights and I was sold. As bad ass as I thought that fight would be, I don't think I expected it to be legendary.

Why not? I think he deserves it at this point. That fight was easily better than Griffin/Bonnar IMO.

"Yes! Yes! Yes!"

He already has a large number of fights that were simply awesome, he's been this was since TUF 1, these are the fights that grow the organization.

I'm not even much of a Diego Sanchez fan and I can't ignore what he's done in the UFC.

Winning the very first season of The Ultimate Fighter in addition to his epic fights with Nick Diaz, Karo Parisyan, Joe Daddy, Clay Guida and now Melendez. That should be more than enough to earn him a spot in the UFC HOF IMHO. No disrespect intended towards Stephan Bonnar, but I think Sanchez probably deserves it a little more than Bonnar does.

I said pretty much the same thing in another forum. I personally think the ufc should buy Diego a house and a new car. Diego renewed my respect for him last night.

Zuffa give lots of "locker room bonuses" and I'm sure Sanchez & Melendez (especially Diego) will walk away with more than the 60k FOTN bonus.

My second favorite match of all time behind Bendo/Cerrone 1. These last couple years we have gotten some wars. Zombie/Poirer.. Jones/Gus.. we got some more wars coming up to finish the year too

Sanchez has some great fights under his belt but IMO that doesn't deserve HOF status. He won TUF but again that doesn't deserve HOF.

Forrest on the other hand won TUF, won the belt, coached TUF, and won arguably the most significant fight in UFC history. Bonnar just comes with him.
