I'm a sensitive fan. I get all choked up and teary when my favorites suffer horrible losses. The last one was Mark Hunt. He has never taken a beating like the one he received from Junior before...My eyes were red and there were funny inflections in my voice.

The only fighter I blindly root for his Dan Henderson. But I have picked against him his last 3 or 4 fights on the playground. This is bidness

I'll never understand when picking fights on here, some members say "I have to pick so and so because I root for them" even when the odds are stacked heavily against them or on the flip side "I hate this fighter so no way can I pick them" when said fighter is an overwhelming favorite.

I never pick against my faves.

Bubbles, saying The Dean of Mean "starched" a prime Liddell is wildly inaccurate. That fight went to a split decision!!

pshh judges are terrible, it was a clear 30-26 victory for Jardine

Some weird inverted form of inbetween.

I know my fighters flaws, and i rarely get angry when they lose. Shit, i get sad. The guillotine on Shogun hurt something inside, man.

However, i do have a knack for counting out my favorite fighters in fights that they end up winning.

I feel as though I am a calculating fan, but being a fan of Jon Fitch, always being on the defensive, whenever he loses I do get genuinely pissed, because I know he loses what little face value he has in mainstream mma. Very frustrating.

I'm harsh in the sense that I jump ship quickly since beyond liking how they fight or they seem cool I really don't get worked up whether or not one of "my" fighters wins or loses. Perhaps that would be the "fickle fan". I do like most fighters who are way too big for their weigth class, something about that amuses me greatly (Rumble when he was a ww, Tibau)

And this is what I don't get in the fight picking biz.

Lol I'm a "fan". And if I'm gonna say I'm a fan of someone, then how could I go against them?

Kinda like Saturday night... I'm more of a fan of JDS and would've rather seen him win, but if I were making picks I'd have picked Cain because I figured he'd win.
