UFC Hall of Famer Chuck Liddell understands why some UFC champions are "playing it safe", but it's not something he wants to watch.

I'm sure GSP wants to take a critique on his fighting style from a guy who's own style turned his chin into glass and made him a mediocre shell of himself by the end of his career.

I also remember a fight or two where Liddell played it safe also...

Here we go again this is Mixed Martial Arts. All you guys/girls dont give St Pierre the credit he deserves.

The man has been fighting nothing but the best the world has to offer for years now and dominating. Playing it safe is just a played out way of all you guys saying you dont enjoy watching wrestlers in MMA.

Reminds me of being at the UFC live.

Wrestling is the strongest base in MMA in my opinion and being able to take a man down over and over again and keep complete control of him for the entire fight is extremely impressive.

The fact of the matter is St Pierre is never in a controversial fight he always destroys the opponent so call it what you want.

Actually,no. GSP is a tremendous athlete and hes very skilled, that I admit. But anyone who avoids going for the finish because it's "too risky" and openly admits to it, is a coward in my eyes. Just being honest, his fighting tactics dont bother me so much as his mentality.

His mentality is win.

There are a ton of fights where he has taken a risk and gone for the finish.

Against certain opponents pushing for a finish will cost you the fight and when your the champ who has his whole career riding on every fight you should only go for a finish if your confident in it.

I hope GSP out grapple's Hendricks for 25 minutes so everyone has more to hate on. It always makes me smile

Really??? GSP is a coward???? im sorry but anyone who steps into the octagon is not a coward, pure and simple; let alone one of the most dominate champs in UFC history. he is the biggest money maker in the UFC; he has millions riding on each match and is the champ. A lose for him means a lot more than anyone else.

Drop the retirement and whoop his ass then, maybe it is a "Super fight" he'd be willing to take.

yeah cuz it worked out so well for Chuck in his final 3 years fighting. I'm sure GSP wants to go out like that and tarnish his legacy
