After their first bout ended in a controversial no-contest result, Roger Bowling and Abel Trujillo will meet for a second time. UFC officials today announced the lightweights will rematch at December's UFC on FOX 9 event.

Featuring a stacked lineup that includes a headlining contest between UFC lightweight champ Anthony Pettis and challenger Josh Thomson, UFC on FOX 9 takes place on Dec. 14 at Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, Calif.

The evening's main card airs on FOX following prelims that air on FOX Sports 1 and stream on Facebook. The exact positioning of the Bowling (11-4 MMA, 0-0 UFC) vs. Trujillo (10-5 MMA, 1-1 UFC) matchup was not revealed but is expected to take place on the night's preliminary card.

Lots of people were calling Trujillo dirty not too long ago. Then Phantom Cam taught those same people a lesson on point of perspective and relativity, and a lot of boards are quiet on this topic.

I like the matchup. Right now I think it could go either way.

I still think Trujillo is dirty, a fake tough guy. Even if he didn't hit him directly in the face (& I still think he did after several angles & watching a million replays) he should have known it was a dangerous shot to throw. Plus I hated him throwing a bitch fit to the ref when he couldn't break Khabib's grip as he repeatedly got thrown down. He finds a way to complain about everything

Here's to Bowling hoping he picks up where he left off (which was clearly winning 2 rounds to none).
