Considering that these are charity events the replacement could have been worse. Thank God it isn't Francis Carmont or we could have had the most boring main event ever.

I don't know if Kennedy will have a much easier fight at middleweight...at least among fighters that have been around a while.

Worst main event of 2013

That's not just the worst main event in 2013. That's the worst main event that the UFC has ever organized. Bar None.

Natal was one of the many people Kennedy called out on Twitter.

I think Kennedy said something like; you're the guy that always seems to win yet nobody knows who you are. Kind of funny, but not a good Main Event.

well when almost all of the guys ranked #5-20 are either tied up or injured, this might be the best they could do on a months notice for someone willing to go 5 rounds.

It's a free card with the potential of some great fights. Yes the star-power is weak when Carmouche might have the biggest public profile, but that shouldn't matter when it's free. There are 10 events scheduled between now and Dec 31...that is 10 events in 12 weeks with 5 events happening in 4 weeks. Approximately 250 fighters will be fighting in that stretch. If this is the weakest card of the bunch, I have no issues with that

I dunno why, But man i have a hard time rooting for Tim Kennedy. I mean shit even if he fought Ivan Drago during the cold war, I'd probably pull for Drago.

Two fighters that often go to decision rarely makes for a good fight but if Natal can sweep Kenedy like he did Tor this could actually be an interesting grappling match.

I like the matchup. Kennedy will be the favorite but Natal should have some tools that could find him a win in Tim's game. Natal hasn't looked terrible this year, he will be going for his forth win of 2013, but Kennedy is a definite step up in comp over his last three opponents. Good booking but underwhelming as a fight to carry any card.

I would prop you if I could but ya definitely my thoughts on this as well.
Honestly I'm more excited for this one than I was for Machida/Kennedy.
It's not a bad fight and Kennedy still gets to fight in front of the troops which is a huge plus for him.
I like that this card is thorough with up and comers and exciting new talent. I wouldn't be surprised if this card had a lot of awesome fights.
