He is looking cut. Maybe this will even be a better move than he thought.

I hope he stays at MW for the remainder of his career. There's still time for him to do big things in the division. Just wished he would have considered it a lot sooner.

Damn he's looking shredded, I'm expecting excellence at mw from him. I am surprised he's with munoz, I thought he was nog/blackhouse all the way

Same here. At 205 he gave up size to most of his opponents. At Middleweight it's more of a level playing field.

well he did win the title and defended it once and has been a top 5 LHW for quite a while now. Couple in his bff was the MW champion and he had no reason to move down since he won't fight for the title. Now that Silva got KTFO and is near the end of his career, it makes sense for Machida to try his hand at MW

I agree and have considered Machida a top 5 LHW for a long time and still do, but that doesn't make what I said untrue. I'm interested to see how well he does fighting guys a little smaller than those in the Light Heavyweight division. Will it help him or hurt him?

TERRIBLE stylistic match-up for Munoz, imo.

machida will have some success at MW, but will never hold the title.

He is a very good fighter, but a tad bit overrated imo

How do you think Machida would do against Weidman?
