UFC lightweights Nate Diaz and Gray Maynard will meet for the third time at The Ultimate Fighter 18 Finale on Nov. 30 in Las Vegas.

UFC officials announced the bout on Sunday.

Diaz and Maynard first met in the semifinal round on the fifth season of The Ultimate Fighter. Diaz submitted Maynard with a guillotine choke. That bout doesn’t appear on the fighters’ official records due to it being a part of the reality series.

Maynard notches another decision en route to a showdown with Bendo or Tibau. Makes sense to me

Nice fight, I'll be rooting for Diaz and I do feel like he has a solid shot as he has been counted out a lot before and came through impressively but Maynard's wrestling should be a difference maker here

Why this fight for both men now ??,

Rather see Maynard vs tibau
Diaz vs khalib/healey winner.

Probably will be main event of tuf finale

In my book Diaz is up 2-0 in this series, He outboxed Gray his last fight but the judges screwed him, Diaz's boxing has gotten better since then & Maynard's chin has gotten worse so for Gray's sake he better come ready to wrestle

Two fighters who have dropped off the planet and nobody cares to see fight each other again....makes perfect sense

For some reason the pepper style shots (no matter how overwhelming) of the Diaz Bros does not win over MMA judges, they want huge hay makers with a lot behind it...even if it is a graze that causes no damage it looks good. I really hope that someone gets a finish in this one.

Diaz said he won't fight Maynard because he thinks he's gonna fight Pettis. lol, yeah right nate. Guy should just quit and run away like his brother.

Here's the article with him saying that. I guess he wants to jump to the front of the line after 2 losses in a row.
