A buddy of mine invited me to join his 10 team league this year since some people dropped out, and it's the first time I've done Fantasy Football since my senior year in high school. What he neglected to tell me was all teams that were in the league last year had 2 keepers and what not so needless to say I didn't have a shot at getting AP, Doug Martin, Drew Brees and most of the truly elite Fantasy guys. Still, I think despite that disadvantage I did okayish for myself. Except my qbs. I'm going to need to actively seek to trade with somebody for another qb option.

ESPN
QB - Matt Stafford
QB - Michael Vick (I was going for Romo but the person before me took him)
RB - CJ Spiller
RB - Matt Forte
WR - Calvin Johnson
WR - Dwayne Bowe
TE - Owen Daniels
D/ST - Bengals D/ST
K - Phil Dawson

BN - Reggie Bush
BN - Hakeem Nicks
BN - Anquan Boldin
BN - Jake Locker (I was going to get Josh Freeman or Alex Smith at one point but the people before me took them, and I'll be damned if I'm taking any of the Jets QBs!)
BN - Brandon Myers
BN - Rams D/ST (I was going to get the Cardinals D with one of my last picks thinking they'd be a sleeper D with Mathieu and Peterson being playmakers and wreaking havoc, but again, the person right before me took them)
BN - Kenbrell Thompkins I thought he'd be a sleeper for my final pick since a) any one of value was gone, and b) he's been getting a lot of targets from Brady in the preseason.

My team is no where near great I don't think, but for it being my first ever live draft (hell of a learning experience for me), and considering all the players I couldn't get because of people and their god damn keepers, I think I did okay. I've looked at the other teams and I don't see many that are outright flat out better than mine. Most teams have a better 2nd QB than me, but imo a lot of the other positions are pushes most of the time. Plus having Megatron helps since it's basically impossible to shut him down, teams can only hope to minimize the damage, really helps. Like my brother said when I showed him my team, my team's big strength and weakness is that I have a lot of players, (Spiller, Bush, potentially Stafford, etc) who will explode and have monstrous weeks, but to the same tune those same players may crap on me points wise in other weeks.

I think you did well for yourself. Although, I don't see a need to have 3 qb's in a 10 team league, unless you can start two of them. I'd be very happy with the team you drafted, if it were for me.

Yeah, each team has 2 qbs starting, which is kinda why I'd like a better qb over vick or locker. Vick's career has been a crap shoot lately, you never really know which Vick you're getting from week to week.
