Going to be a real tough test for Brown in this one. Saffiedine is a beast

this is a good test for both fighters. Tarec has been out for a little while but is just outside the top 10 and needs a game opponent. Brown, while on a nice run, is no where near the top of the division. Tarec is a good step up for him

I'd rather have seen Brown fight a grappler as I feel he has better wrestling and his pressure won't ever let Tarec get comfortable, I feel Brown could even get a stoppage but I think this tells us.

Maia will get the title shot with a win over Shields
Brown/Tarec winner will fight GSP/Hendricks loser.
MacDonald/Lawler winner will fight Condit. Stungun/Silva winner will fight Pierce (with a win over Palharres).

Depending on timing, Alves or Ellenberger could fight Condit in the mean time.

Koscheck/Woodley loser could very well get sent home there walking papers.

Should Shields wins and MacDonald wins, Lawler will get the next shot.
If Shields and MacDonald wins, it'll be Brown/Safferdine winner.

Interesting matchup but I hoped Brown would get a top 10 guy. Brown has the style to pound out Tarec especially if Tarec messes with his chew!!!
