Following a loss to Johny Hendricks at UFC 158, former interim welterweight champion Carlos Condit decided to make wrestling a priority for his training camps going forward.

Good to hear, if Condit can work hard to improve his wrestling, he should be pretty well unstoppable!

Hearing guys talk about who they're training with doesn't mean anything to me anymore. Heard it a lot the last 11 years.

Yeah, but who is training with Steven Siegal these days. That's the only trainer that matters if you want to win a championship.

I was just looking over Condit's record and I really didn't realize the list of killers he's fought in the ufc so far. Kampmann, Ellenberger, MacDonald, Diaz, GSP, Hendricks, DHK and Hardy. DHK and Hardy aren't elite but they're both pretty tough and Condit ran through both.

If he can get his tdd up to par with the rest of his skillset he'll be very tough to beat.

Ill never understand why it takes guys so long to try and fix glaring weaknesses. Especially someone of Condits ability, who I've said for years would be near unbeatable at his weight with takedown defense.

I glanced at this thread title and thought that Jake Herbert was going into MMA.

I am disappoint.
