I don't agree with the release since his last fight was on short notice, but I guess missing weight doesn't make a strong case either.
As long as he stays active i'm sure all it will take is 2 or 3 wins over notables like Spratt and he will be back, which is definitely possible for Tim.

I agree I think he should have got one more chance, however he showed a reasonable amount of talent and (as long as he avoids Bellator) a couple of regional wins should come easily and get him back in the UFC

Wtf, when was he cut?? I hate this cut. It stinks and it stinks horribly of when Ben Saunders was cut. What message are they even trying to send? This was a standup fighter who got in and banged, kind of the opposite of a 'not exciting' fighter.

He has lost a couple fights in a row and he didnt make weight I dont feel bad that the UFC cut him. Taking a fight on short notice is no excuse for not making weight.

Surprised by the cut, but it could be a good thing for Means. He can rack up a couple wins and be right back in the UFC.

Definitely a disappointing release. Means has potential. Hopefully Bellator doesn't lock him up with a contract. Give him a couple of tune up fights and he should be back imo.
