UFC women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey does not believe for one second that her upcoming acting roles will distract her from focusing on her fighting career. But Rousey admits she thinks the clock could be ticking on her time in the cage.

LOL.

She hasn't even accomplished anything yet, but sure, let's just retire already

Hopefully she'll be forced to fight Cyborg before that time so that she can get destroyed and then really follow in the footsteps of Gina Carano.

Rousey is the most decorated female Judoka in the history of the US, She has 2 Junior World Championships, and is the first to win an Olympic medal for the US since the sport was included in the games.

As far as her accomplishments in MMA, they are equally as impressive. She is undefeated as an amateur and as a professional with no fights going past the first round and with all of them ending by the same submission.

She is the (one of) the first women to headline a PPV, she has held titles in the top 2 organizations in the world, and she's been facing the best opposition available in her weight class for several fights now.

She's accomplished more in MMA than any female ever. She may be annoying as hell but give respect where its due...she is one hell of a fighter.

Zuffa would love that. Bring in and build an entire division based on the looks and success of one fighter only to have them leave a couple of years later to be a C level movie star.

Nah. 'Borg would destroy her.

Also, Gina Carano was much better looking

Cyborg destroying her is irrelevant. And yes, Gina is better looking

Don't get me wrong, Rousey's a solid fighter, but she just barely showed up as far as MMA is concerned. She's only had seven professional fights so far in her career, and only one of those was in the UFC. Why retire already? She literally just barely made a bit of a name for herself, and now she wants out. How did she not learn anything from Gina?

Even if she never fights Cyborg (which I don't expect her to) and doesn't have to go through with getting destroyed, she's still going to be remembered as just another Gina Carano if she retires this early, except Gina can at least say that she fought the best in the world. Ronda will no doubt say the same, but is it really true, and will anyone really believe it? I don't think so. I think many consider Cyborg to be the best female mixed martial artist of all time, and I would think that a great champion like Rousey claims to be should want to take on a challenge like that.

But, what can you do? If GSP had been more about taking on a challenge we probably would've seen he and Anderson go at it by now, and the same can be said about a few other big fights. It's just the way she goes.

Your immense confidence in Cyborg must largely hinge on how many different steroids are coursing through her veins.

I truly believe Cyborg would dominate Rousey with or without steroids, but who knows?

That's why I want to see it happen

Here's how it goes down.
Ronda retires in 2 years. Five years after that the women's division becomes exceptional. Ronda comes out of retirement to face the current champ and gets demolished. We then wonder how the fight would have went if she would have kept fighting and not have retired.
