33 was magnificent. 33 and Final Conflict 2005 are probably my favorite PFC cards. 33 was better all around, but FC2005 was drama.

I downloaded all 13 Bushido events last week and just finished the first 2.
I have only seen 2 or 3 pride events before these, so this is all pretty new to me lol. I can say I'm not a big fan of Rutten's interviews or commentating Just find it a little awkward but hey, these have been some pretty good fights so far.
Anything else I can expect without spoiling anything?

First of all, I must say that I think you'll grow to love Bas. El Guapo is the fucking man.

Secondly, Bushido 9 is simply amazing. Like I said in the original post, it's my single favorite MMA event of all time. Epic fight after epic fight. You'll love it.

As mentioned earlier UFC 100.

It has my favorite KO. Hendo on Bisping.

Easily my favorite post fight interview. Brock going ham.

Akiyama v Belcher was a war

&

Dollaway getting choked out a minute into the fight.

I see a lot of people picking UFC 139. Which was an amazing card but the best fight that night wasn't in the UFC. It was Eddie v Mike Chandler. So while it may have been the best night of fights I don't think I can say it was my favorite card when I enjoyed Bellator even more.

I won't ever forget UFC 139
I found out a day before I flew out for the event that I was gonna be demoted as manager. It sure did make me feel awful but the event made up for it

I must say... UFC 166 may have just jumped to the top of my list.

I'll be watching the event once more today from start to finish.

Top 3 live events

1. UFC 100
2. UFC 139
3. UFC 146

You can bump 146. And add 166 instead

I sat down and watched all of UFC 166 one more time, from the first prelim to the main event.

PRIDE Bushido 9: The Tournament is still my favorite, but UFC 166 has easily become my second favorite event of all time.

I can't really say I have one standout event, but WEC 40 and 53 I remember loving at the time. I started to get into MMA around the time PRIDE ended so I've never really sat through an entire event from beginning to end...just watched a bunch of fights individually. I really wish I discovered MMA earlier.

Strikeforce: Daley vs Diaz, Fedor vs Rogers, and Evolution (Le vs Smith I) stand out for me

As for the UFC, there are far too many events for me to isolate (and remember) as my single favourite but UFC 97 up until that piece of shit main event was unreal. First live event ever and the fights were awesome. UFC 146 you can't go wrong with. UFC 136 is right at or near the top having fallen on my birthday and watching Frankie KO Maynard, Florian lose, Sonnen choke out Stann.

Oh and UFC 162 will always hold a special place in my heart
