Rumor is Paul Taylor was released from the UFC after not fighting for two years. Can anyone confirm this?

According to wikipedia and its citation, yes, it would see he was. I was wondering when he would fight again. Unfortunately when/if he ever fights again it won't be in the UFC, which is sad to me. Always was one of my favorite fighters. I know this may sound kinda odd, but his striking was very "pretty" to watch. Very crisp, clean, and technical, and he's always exciting. Hopefully he gets back in there soon and mixes it up with some people and gets some wins and we see him in the ufc again soon. Awesome fighter and I will always root for him.

I know exactly what you mean by the pretty comment. Even Joe thought he was one of the more crisp kickboxers in the UFC. His biggest issue was fighting at welterweight. Those guys were just too big for him. I just hate to see him go due to so many injuries. Nobody wants to see a fighter go out like that, especially when it's a guy like Taylor who owns a handful of FOTN awards.

When I hear that name I think of his nasty head kick on Marcus Davis

One of my favorite moments in his career Plus the first 30 seconds against Paul Kelly

I saw someone asking this on Facebook earlier, thanks for the update...now, what is the word on other guys who have been inactive but refuse to admit retirement (I.e. Sean Sherk)?

Was the person asking Rabi? If so then it was me. I'm guessing Sherk is retired, though. It's too late for him to make a comeback.

He also had issues making weight a few times I think so I thought the UFC had already dropped him. He was always super exciting to watch though

Paul needs to stay healthy. Pick up a win or two in the UK
And the UFC will sign him back.
He is just too fun to watch not to sign him
