I haven’t said anything that wasn’t true and my message to Rory is pretty clear: start tasting some flavors of baby food and find one you like and stock up because this isn’t a Tears for Fears lookalike contest. All I said is for him to prepare for some horizontal television time, and I meant it. I’m going out there to perform and to win. Rory doesn’t have a choice where this fight goes. This fight goes where I want it to go, and I’ve shown that in past fights. He has shown that he has potential, but he has not faced anybody like me. I’m stoked to get in there. I’m an evidence-based abuser. I didn’t make him make the stupid decision to fight me. I’m just going to make him look stupid when I destroy him.”

MacDonald's probably gonna win this pretty handily, but I'd love to see Ellenberger pound him out for three rounds and give him a good beating. He'd be a better fighter for it, just like after the Condit fight.

I think Ellenberger believes he's a lot better than he really is.

I can't wait for this one. Big fight for the Welterweight division right here. Rory abusing an out of shape Penn that belongs no where near Welterweight is one thing but taking out Ellenberger would prove he deserves the hype he's being given. I think he wins but Ellenberger's hands are deadly and he needs to always keep an eye out for that.

Rory is going to win this fight. It's not going to be easy by any means, but he will be the one who looks to be in control. Rory is a very well-rounded who clearly takes pride in his craft. he has the mindset to hold the belt, but if he won't fight GSP, he'll have to settle for being number 2 for now.fighter
